About the photographer

Tran Viet Tuan was born in Vietnam’s capital city of Hanoi. He studied photography at Hanoi Academy of Cinema and took part in several photo news practice training courses held by Reuters.
Tuan has been a photographer and photo editor for Vietnam Economic Times, Vietnam’s leading business magazine in English language, since 1998. He has also worked as a freelancer for several other local newspapers and magazines, including Vietnam Airlines’ in-flight magazine Heritage and Vietnam Investment Review.

With 15 years of experience, Tuan is able to provide a wide range of excellent commercial services, including advertising, documentary, event photography.

He has been contracted by Siemens Vietnam, Zamil Steel, Prudential, CitiBank, Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, IDG Vietnam,  Sheraton Hotel, Sofitel Metropole Hanoi, Furama Resort, etc.

Tuan has also provided photography services to verious NGO projects and international organisations such as UNDP, World Bank, GTZ, SIDA, Oxfarm Great Britain, JICA ect. in Vietnam.
